Controller
The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is:
Emeldron S.L., Avenida Doctor Waksman 54, Apt. 14, 46013 Valencia, Spain.
You can reach us at info@emeldron.com for any question about data protection or to exercise your rights.
Overview
This website is the marketing site of Emeldron S.L. It has no user accounts, no login area and no online shop. We limit data collection to what is necessary to run the site securely, understand how it is used in aggregate, and answer the messages you send us.
We process personal data only in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data protection law.
Visiting this website (server logs)
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, a content delivery network with servers in the European Union and worldwide. When you open a page, your browser necessarily transmits technical data to the hosting infrastructure so that the page can be delivered to you.
This technical data can include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the page you came from, and information about your browser and operating system. It is processed to deliver the website, keep it secure, and defend against attacks.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These technical logs are stored only for a short period and are not combined with other data to identify you.
Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how our website is used, for example which pages are visited and how many people start an inquiry. PostHog processes this data for us on servers in the European Union.
We run PostHog in a cookieless mode. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, neither in cookies nor in local or session storage. To tell visits apart, a temporary visitor identifier is derived from a hash that rotates every day. Your IP address is used only to compute this value and is then discarded, not stored. Because the identifier changes daily, we cannot recognise you across days or build a long-term profile.
As a result, we can measure aggregate figures such as page views and conversion counts, but not unique individuals over time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the performance of our website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because no information is stored on or read from your device, this analysis does not require your consent.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics works without cookies, as described above.
This website may store a small technical value in your browser to remember that an introductory animation has already been shown during your visit. This value contains no personal data and is removed when you close the browser tab. It is strictly necessary for the site to behave as intended and rests on our legitimate interest in a functional website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contacting us
When you contact us by email or through a form on this website, we process the information you provide, such as your name, company, email address and the content of your message. We use this data solely to handle and respond to your inquiry.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to a contract or to steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to messages addressed to us, in all other cases.
We keep your message and contact details for as long as we need them to deal with your inquiry and any follow-up, and afterwards only where statutory retention obligations require it. We do not use the data you send us for advertising.
No accounts and no automated decisions
This website does not offer user accounts or registration, and we do not create user profiles. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you or similarly significantly affects you.
Recipients and processors
We rely on carefully selected service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions. These are our hosting provider Cloudflare, which delivers the website, and PostHog, which provides our cookieless analytics on servers in the European Union.
Where required, we have concluded data processing agreements with these providers in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for the marketing purposes of third parties.
International data transfers
We choose service providers and configurations that process data within the European Union wherever possible. If, in the course of delivering the website, data is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area, such a transfer takes place only on the basis of appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to access that data (right of access), to have inaccurate data corrected (rectification), to have your data deleted (erasure), to have processing restricted (restriction), to receive your data in a portable format (data portability), and to object to processing based on our legitimate interests (objection).
To exercise any of these rights, simply contact us at info@emeldron.com. We will respond within the periods set by law.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD). If you are located in another EU country, you may contact the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
Data security
This website is served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We and our processors apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to the website or to legal requirements. The current version always applies and carries the date of the last update shown at the top of this page.
